Step 1: Prepping the Nails

Proper nail preparation is key to ensuring your press-on nails last as long as possible. Follow these simple steps to get the best results:

  1. Begin by using the cuticle stick to push back your cuticles and file your nails down to the desired shape.
  2. Select the perfect size Frenchy Nail for each of your natural nail beds by placing them above and comparing the fit.
  3. Use the included nail file to gently buff your nails, creating a clean surface for the adhesive to bond to.
  4. Make sure to completely wipe all of your nails with the included alcohol wipe to remove natural oils that could prevent the adhesive from working effectively.

Step 2: Choose Adhesive

Option 1) Nail Adhesive Tabs (3-4 Days wear)
  1. Choose the Nail Adhesive Tab that is the correct size for each of your nail beds.
  2. Peel off the protective backing on the Nail Adhesive Tabs.
  3. Apply the adhesive side of the nail adhesive tab to your natural nail, making sure to center it over the nail bed.
  4. Press down firmly on the Nail Adhesive Tab to ensure a secure bond.
  5. Remove the plastic from the Nail Adhesive Tab.
  6. Repeat steps for each nail.

Note that the Nail Adhesive Tabs are designed to be smaller than the nail to ensure a secure and comfortable fit. While they may not cover the entire nail, they will provide ample coverage to hold the press-on nail in place, including the edges, as long as they are applied correctly.

Option 2) Nail Glue (2-3 Weeks wear)
  1. Apply one drop of nail glue onto your natural nail, spreading it out evenly.
  2. Apply one drop of glue onto the back of the Frenchy Nail and spread it out evenly.
  3. Align the Frenchy Nail with your cuticle line and apply it at a downward, 45-degree angle.
  4. Press the Frenchy Nail down firmly and hold it in place for 10-15 seconds to allow the glue to bond.
  5. Repeat steps for each nail.

Tips for longer wear

By following these tips, you can help your press on nails stay on for longer and look beautiful for days to come!

  • Avoid water contact for at least 2 hours after application to help the adhesive bond properly.
  • Do not touch your nails with your fingertips after wiping them with the alcohol pad. This will prevent the oils on your fingers from transferring to your nails and interfering with the adhesive.
  • Choose the right size for your nails to avoid premature lifting or discolouration. Press on nails that are too small or large can allow water to get underneath and interact with the glue, causing the nails to come off earlier than expected.
  • If using nail glue, apply a small amount to both your natural nail and the back of the press on nail. Too much glue can cause the glue to seep out from under the nails and bond to your fingers!
  • If using Nail Adhesive Tabs, make sure they are the correct size for your nail bed and apply them evenly.

Removal

To remove your press-on nails without causing damage, you can soak them in a mixture of hot water, soap, and oil (like cuticle oil, kitchen oil, or body oil) for

10-15 minutes. Or, you can rub oil into your hands, massage well, and gently pop the nails off when they're ready.

Removal times may vary depending on the amount of glue used and how long you've had them on.
