Who are press-on nails for?

Press-on nails are ideal for busy women, wanting gorgeous nails without the time commitment of a salon visit. They’re especially suited for those who prioritize time management and want to stay clear of potential damage caused by acrylic nails or gel polish under UV lamps. Press-on nails provide a smart, stylish solution for those looking to balance beauty and efficiency.

Wearing our nails

How long do the press-on nails last?

The nails can last up to 2 weeks if properly applied. However, it’s important to remember that lifestyle can affect how long the nails stay on.

How do I prep my nails for the press-ons?

Proper nail preparation is key to ensuring your press-on nails last as long as possible. Follow these simple steps to get the best results:

  1. Begin by using the cuticle stick to push back your cuticles and file your nails down to the desired shape.
  2. Select the perfect size Frenchy Nail for each of your natural nail beds by placing them above and comparing the fit.
  3. Use the included nail file to gently buff your nails, creating a clean surface for the adhesive to bond to.
  4. Make sure to completely wipe all of your nails with the included alcohol wipe to remove natural oils that could prevent the adhesive from working effectively.
How do I apply the nails?

  1. Shape and file your nails.
  2. Choose between Nail Adhesive Tabs (2-3 days wear) or Nail Glue (2-3 weeks wear).
  3. Apply the tabs or glue, align the press-on nails, and hold firmly for 10-15 seconds.
  4. Follow our Application guide for extended wear. Removal instructions included.

How do I remove the nails?

You can easily remove your press on's with no damage by soaking them in hot water, soap and oil (any kind such as cuticle oil, kitchen oil or body oil) for 10-15 minutes! Or massage well with oil.

** Note: Some nails may take longer than others to come off depending on how much glue you used, and how long it's been since you've applied your press on's.

Are Frenchy press-on nails safe for your natural nails?

Our press-on nails act as a protective barrier, allowing your natural nails to grow safely. They are a gentle and healthier alternative to traditional acrylics, perfect for those who bite their nails or have experienced damage or allergies. With Frenchy press-on nails, you can enjoy beautiful nails without compromising your nail health.

Troubleshooting

My nails are popping off, what do I do?
  • Nail preparation: Before applying the press-on nails, ensure that your natural nails are clean, dry, and free from any oils or residue. This will create a smooth surface for better adhesion.
  • Don't forget to file! Before applying the nail glue, Use the provided nail file to gently file your nail beds enough. The goal is just to create some texture for your nail adhesive or glue to stick to. This also helps you avoid air pockets that cause press-on nails to pop off quickly.
  • Size and fit: Double-check that you have selected the right size and shape for your nails. Frenchy press-on nails come in a variety of sizes to accommodate different nail shapes. Choosing the correct size will provide a more secure and comfortable fit.
  • Proper application: Follow the instructions provided with the press-on nails carefully. Add a thin layer of nail glue or adhesive to your natural nail and be sure to cover it completely. Then add a drop of nail glue to the inside base of the press-on, avoiding the free edge. The glue in the press-on will naturally be drawn to the glue on your nail and they’ll grab onto each other, adding an extra layer of bonding.

Make sure you coat the nails well to avoid air bubbles as they create pockets between your nail and the press-on. If air gets into the adhesive your nails may be popping off before the end of the day.

  • Press and hold: After applying the press-on nail, firmly press it onto your natural nail and hold it in place for 10-15 seconds .You have to apply pressure in the center of the nail for at least 10 seconds (on each nail) and pinch the sides while you do it to get the best possible nail bed fit. Avoid water contact for at least 2 hours after application to help the adhesive bond properly.

Remember, proper application and maintenance are key to achieving long-lasting results. If you're still facing issues with your press-on nails, please reach out to our customer support team. We're here to assist you and ensure that you have a positive experience with our products.

How Long Do Press On Nails Usually Last?

A set of press-on nails will typically last for about one week but if you follow the tips above and take care of your nails they could stay intact for two to three weeks (or until you remove them). If you want to remove press-on nails before they come off on their own, be sure to follow the proper steps like you would when removing gel nails or removing acrylic nails and follow up with hand care to keep your natural nails looking and feeling healthy.

I can’t get my press-on nails to come off, what do I do?

If you are having trouble taking off the nails, please continue to soak them in warm water, with oil, and soap. It’s very important that you don’t force the nails off since that can cause severe damage to your natural nails. One recommendation is to massage your nails with oil. Please also keep in mind that the recommended application process is meant to keep the nails on for two weeks. So if you're looking to only wear the nails for a few days we recommend using our Nail Adhesive Tabs which are meant to be used for shorter timeframes.
